Field meeting of IGCP 735 in Llandrindod, Wales, July 2025
The aim of this workshop is to encourage presentations describing total ecosystems and exceptionally preserved faunas and floras (especially ones that are less well known) from the Cambrian to Silurian. Fieldwork (two days) will include visits to the Castle Bank Lagerstätte, and a selection of places that will hopefully include Llanfawr.
#### From 17th to 21st October, the 2025 Annual Meeting of IGCP Project 735 convened at Central South University in Changsha, China. Approximately 70 participants attended. The programme featured 35 oral presentations, 21 poster displays, and one workshop. The conference also included a one-day field trip during the meeting and a five-day post-conference field excursion. Three students received the Best Oral Presentation award, and one student received the Best Poster Presentation award.
The IGCP735 regional meeting was held in Camaret (Brittany, France) between the 21st and 23rd September 2025. STRATI, 4th International Congress on Stratigraphy, Lille, France, July 2023

14th International Symposium on the Ordovician Symposium, Tallinn, Estonia, July 2023
14th International Symposium on the Ordovician System was held from July 19th to July 21st, 2023 at Tallinn University (Estonia) in conjunction with the 3rd annual meeting of IGCP 735. A pre-conference field excursion explored Ordovician sections of Estonia. The post-confernce field exursions examined classic sites in Sweden. 2nd Annual meeting of IGCP 735 in Marrakesh, Morocco, October 2022

Virtual “Ordovician of the World” Conference, September 2021
The online meeting was hosted by Lille University took place over four days: Monday 13th to Thursday 16th, September 2021. This was the absolutely final annual meeting of IGCP 653 and the first annual meeting of IGCP 735.
